Any Good Films on at Christmas

Hi All

I'm heading back home tonight to embrace the christmas cheer with family. Eat till I'm fit to burst, meet the relis and answer the same old question, meet up with friends of old, getting depressed on boxing day because everything shut, buying pointless things in the new years sale because it's cheap..

Anyway I'm fairly new to this forum but I have been pleasently surprised, look forward to making my earstwhile contributions in the new year.

However is it just me or are the films a lot worse this year, are there any good films on terestrial teli.

Not looked at the listings yet - aren't the usual collection of Christmas classics on -

Scrooge - Alistair Sim
Great Escape
Towering Inferno
Digby, the Biggest Dog in the World
One of our Dinosaurs is Missing

LOL

At the moment I am engrossed in my Peep Show boxset - I missed this when it was on TV but watched a couple of episodes at a mates house the other day and went out and bought the boxset - very funny!!!!

Peep Show is awesome. I'm working my way throw the My Name Is Earl box set at the moment. I laughed so hard in the first episode that I think a bit of wee came out.

heh

A Muppet Christmas Carol is on later today
IMHO its the best xmas film ever. I know all the words to all the songs.
'It's in the singing of the street corner choir...'

I think Kung-Fu Hustle may have to be the DVD of choice for chrimbo. Possibly one of the most entertaining films I've seen in a while.

Also "Raising Arizona" and "My Cousin Vinny" good for hilarities with the family.
