Meirhosting.net is the only one for me. The support is second to none.

    I'm with Heart and Easily.

Never had a problem with Heart (4 sites) but a few with Easily. Then again Easily host my biggest site: 250 folders, 4,500 pages, a forum and all around 76mb.

I've got 2 dedicated servers at serverprovider.com tell them I sent ya...

Their support is always online and they're very fast to respond if there's any issues.

I have a reseller account with www.resellerzoom.com - been excellent so far. They've just started advertising UK based servers as well.

I'll second that. David is very helpful and usually very quick to respond to my queries.

I've had a couple of downtimes this year but was kept informed and the problems were fixed fairly swiftly. Much better than my last host who tried to blame everyone else rather than themselves or not even reply to my emails!

    www.meirhosting.net

I've just renewed for another year.

I've used them for a few years, only had one incident, which turned out to be down to something I'd done rather than their side.

Only wall I've hit was when I was building a price comparison, site, they only give you a relatively small database size on the shared hosting relative to the overall storage.

Features are good though and I've used them since the days I thought Frontpage was cutting edge, so it's a pretty easy setup.

Not sure their support is up there with rackspace and the like, but for bog standard shared hosting at reasonable cost, no worries.

I've got a couple of sites on 1and1, including my ecommerce site, and the only bother I've had was generated from my own lack of experience at the start.

I don't know how they compare price wise as they were recommended by someone I trust who had used them for a while and because I hadn't got a clue what I wanted I went with them with out shopping around as I usually would ... no regrets though.

It's easy to sign up and hosting is straight forward (I use Dreamweaver so if you use hand coding and an FTP program I can only presume it's as easy to upload).

The only thing is the built in stats package which isn't very informative but that's not high on my list of important features as I can look else where for my stats.

    I'm happy to recommend them

    CS New Media here.

Only been with them for a three months but all is well so far.. and.. cheap enough just to give them a try.

I would suggest you to go with www.webhosting.uk.com. They have very good plans with excellent support of 24*7*365.
There servers are UK based and have 99.9% uptime.
Most important is that they provide “ money back guarantee ”
I m one of the satisfied client of it with having account from last 2 and half year and would strongly suggest you to try signing it up.
