  Selective Moderation at a4u

Hey Matt and co, please explain why you delete and/or close most of the threads that I participate in, despite loads of people on here sending me and my colleagues requests for help, which we always reply to with courtsey and encouragement.

Today it was the leadxaffiliate.com thread, where drivetowin had posted an intelligent question about our network and I spent the best part of 45 minutes composing a carefully considered reply. Why was that deleted?

Why do you allow all the networks such as CJ, OMG, et al to promote themselves on here despite their dreadful track records, and just single me out for the special treatment?

I even spent the best part of an hour on the phone with your mate Bruce Clayton last week helping him understand the finance market - all for free.

I can help people here, for free. Don't you want people like me here? Would you rather have nothing but wannabee kids that you can all talk down to?

And before anyone suggests that this would be better done by pm or email I disagree.

If you're serious about running a fair and unbiased forum (which I for one am genuinely starting to doubt) give me an answer here so that your members can see what you're about and please, please, don't delete this as well.

Can I just say, I met with Mr Anthony last week - for the first time.

He is perhaps the most aware of anyone I have ever came across in the Finance Sector.

Sure, he is passionate and maybe a little rougher around the edges than some - but he is also I believe very genuine and sincere.

If his "network" is being censored - then I for one would be very disappointed.

kind regards

Sunroomguy

PS: Michael even paid for lunch - and gave me lots of tips and suggestions - all for free. And I thought there was no such thing as a Free Lunch ;-)

I remember one online casino that, paid out players winnings within half an
hour of them requesting payment, the players thought it was fantastic.

They paid affiliates 40% revenue share one of the highest in the industry
ontime every month. Affiliates thought it was fantastic.

I signed up.. then i saw the banners.......

pictures of aston martins, villa's in the sun, island beaches with captions like
become a millionaire, give up work, drive a sports car etc etc.

I knew i could not promote them.

Thankfully the british goverment has now caught up with me on this hence
the latest legislation.

In my experience there isn't.

On the subject of "selective moderation", I know that Matt / the other mods have always been keen to keep things as professional as possible here. I haven't read all of the posts that Michael was referring to, but if they ended up as just people bickering (I'm not saying it's necessarily Michael's fault) then maybe the mods have justification.

Ben

Err, that seems a very random post Orotava!

Must say I PM'd Michael the other day and received a quick response with the info I needed. I like his posts, but can understand that the forum needs moderation.

Weirdly - I met Michael last week as well - (you've been busier than normal mate!) - He is a nice guy, clearly knows his onions and is very successful. I do think its inappropriate to post in other networks forums though.
Don't know if thats why you're being censored though. You do come across very differently in postings than in real life, perhaps you're pushing too hard.
Why not approach Matt to have your own forum on here - it'll cost you but if you're going to get new "students" thats kind of fair enough.

Err, that seems a very random post Orotava!

No really, it was just my first and last attempt at diplomacy.

In a nutshell i dont like the way anthony promotes his MLM marketing
aka affiliate school in this forum or in his google adwords campaigns.

ban him!

Orotova, I don't like the way you bad mouth people that you don't know, and insinuate that they are criminals and/or running an mlm scheme.

I was rather hoping for a response from some of the a4u team though.

I'll raise you a 'having posts deleted' for a 'being called "pathetic" by a moderator publicly on this forum about eighteen months ago'.

Despite that, I wasn't scared off and have continued to post...

  Re: Selective Moderation at a4u

While Michael and I may not always see eye to eye, I do hope that he is not being censored - I must admit I didn't even realise the leadx thread had gone until Michael mentioned it.

Whatever others may feel about Michael and his methods, I commend him for his robust defence of his school and for what it's worth, I felt his answer to my post in the leadx thread was very professional and provided the necessary clarification. There should be no stifling of reasoned debate without good reason - yes I get bored of the petty name calling as much as anyone, but robust debate is a sign of a good and healthy forum imho.

Orotava - while some of Michael's practices may be a little, shall we say 'sharp', they undoubtedly get results and I've seen no evidence that the school is an mlm scheme - yes it may be multi-level but that in itself does not make it mlm - there are no forced sales and no costs to participate as far as I am aware.

Maverick? yes
Rough diamond? yes
Provocative? yes

All of those could be applied to Michael but they've been levelled at me plenty of times in the past too.
