Evening all,
I'm in the process of some pretty major database changes, and therefore having a look at some of my text links.
With most networks, the text link is a simple link. With Tradedoubler, if you go to the link matrix, the link is a simple link like it is with other networks. But if you select a text link from the "Your Programs" section, the link includes an image.
For example, in the link matrix, it would look like this:
But in the Your Programs interface, it is like this:HTML Code:http://clkuk.tradedoubler.com/click?p=19115&a=1236021&g=578368
HTML Code:<a href="http://clkuk.tradedoubler.com/click?p=19115&a=1236021&g=16390288" target="_blank">Type your text here</a><img src="http://impgb.tradedoubler.com/imp?type(inv)g(16390288)a(1236021)">
CJ also has invisible images included in the text link.
So the question is, what does that image actually do? I would rather stick just the link without the image into my database, but is that going to upset the tracking in anyway? Anyone know?
