For those who are back from Vegas, I thought it would be nice to share some of the notes you took from the event - For some I know thats not going to be much as there were a lot of people nursing hangovers!
My two points to get things going..
The consumer is ultimately in control and we must provide tools and methods to allow them to interact at all levels. The networks can help us in some respect with these tools, but a great deal of development needs to be done by affiliates. If not developed in-house there are a lot of off the shelf products that can be utilised.
Taking the above into consideration do not go out with the mindset to build an affiliate site!
Finally there was a great deal of talk about, yes you guessed it, web 2.0 and affiliate 2.0 - take from that what you must!
