    What is a Super Affiliate?

I have heard the term 'Super Affiliate' used on the forum a few times.

But what is a Super Affiliate?

Is there an amount of affiliate commission that you would say has to be made before you get 'Super' status?

I guess we all would try to achieve this status.... but what is one?

I really hate the term. But I feel it's very much a case of 'the eye's of the beholder's opinion'.

Failing that, if you have a nice big hat, you're a super affiliate

Different for each person, most merchants only have one or two affiliates that provide 80-90% of their business, or at least a noteable portion. To them the affiliates might be classed as "better", "super", "Premium" (love that one zanox).

Whilst they might be super affiliates to one merchant, they might not be to the network. Likewise they might be the largest affiliate one network has, but the smallest insignificant waste of time to others.
    Nothing to see here...

If you ever go to an A4U meeting you will spot the SA's (or super affiliate to you and me) quite easily. They often wear their pants on the outside of their trousers and will also be wearing a cloak!!

Many people refer to super-affiliates as those affiliates who have sub-affilaites working for them.

I think PriceThat is spot on in terms of the way that merchants term a superaffiliate.

From our perspective ( the affiliates ) - i guess i think of the guys who do well across a number of spectrums are what i class as super affiliates.

But then if you're doing really well in just Poker or Casino ( for example ) and earning $100,000s a month, then i guess that also classes as a SuperAffiliate.

Damn, its harder than i thought - i'm gonna stick to the red cape and underpants over the trousers definition!!!
