I don't know how helpful this may be, but I have a friend who has a site that collects streams from various media streams for various programmes.
Youtube is one of his sources and thus far he hasn't had any problems.
hope that helps.

I've had a quick look on youtube and can't spot anything.
Does anyone know if it's against their T&C's to make a site that basically uses videos uploaded to Youtube?
I know they give the code there so people can embed videos into sites but just didn't know if it was permitted to basically create a site around some youtube videos?
Obviously I don't really want to host the videos myself as they eat mega bandwidth
Cheers

Can't see youtube having the audacity of taking anybody to court considering the dubious source of much of their material.
I say build your site with their best content, charge your advertisers less and coin it!
Sounds like a neat idea.![]()
p.s. Blog the legal case too if they do have the neck, for a little fall back
I'm sure I've bumped across sites that do this sort of thing, so I don't think it'll be a problem. Anyway, in trying to find one for an example I stumbled across this list of YouTube Tools that maybe handy for you and anyone else - http://www.quickonlinetips.com/archi...ls-collection/
The bottom of the page has this one - http://www.topyoutubevideos.com
YouTube vids plus AdSense ads.
As both are now Google, they should go hand in hand!
General affiliate banners?
What's the content and let affiliate world rip with their suggestions!
Not quite on the same track as you're talking about but this is on the bbc site today:
