  Is my site Affiliate ready?

Hi All!

Just wanted to get your opinion on whether my site is suitable for Affiliate Marketing?

So far I am only using Adsense + subscriptions.

Site is DealsLocally.co.uk

Thanks!

Looks good to me. Can't see any reason you'd not draw in some good traffic.

The only thing that puts me off at the moment is the Auction Room ad on the right hand side of the page- it doesn't blend in nicely and makes the site look a bit amateurish. Otherwise great effort

I agree about the right hand banner ... would you suggest removing it altogether, or just placing something else?

Thanks

Maybe you can try one than blends in a bit better- white background possibly. Probably just a matter of trying out a few to see what looks good

I see, thanks! I agree that a different colour would be nice, but it seems I have no voice in that when it comes to google banners

Re: Is my site Affiliate ready?

Just registered with a few merchants (at appears some reject )

Any way, I've placed banners on the front page. Can anyone please advise whether I am using affiliate banners correctly, thematically, etc.

Any advise about banner placement or how to choose?
Site is in the signature.
THanks!

The site is in BETA, ans we have not yet started marketing activities, which are scheduled to launch next week.
Thank you for your interest and comments.

I really liked it. Good content too.

I wasn't too bothered by the banner but I agree that a banner with a more neutral colour would look better.

Good luck!
