I would really appreciate your help with an intercultural study

Dear Sir or Madame,

My name is Robert Mai and I am currently conducting a comprehensive intercultural study in Germany and Great Britain. My MBA thesis deals with the human capacity to memorise certain details in an advertising spot. Therefore I need to draw a huge sample of subjects (more than 100 subjects per country). 550 German subjects filled in the questionnaire already, but it is very complicated to get in touch with Britons. Maybe I could ask you for help with my study. I would really, really appreciate it, if you could forward this link to British people (and ask them to forward as well) or tell me who I should contact in this matter.

Completion of the questionnaire won’t take participants more than 10 minutes. I will, of course, inform you about the outcome of this study. And I can also give you some insights/data on the topic, if you or your institution is interested.

I'm not that bothered about doing a survey.

What % of people don't have quicktime installed? Or am I the only one?

Hi Robert. Welcome to the forum. No Quicktime here either I'm afraid. I like to see how sites appear if I don't have every whistle and bell. Although research is worthy and the nature of yours necessitates some form of plugin I'm not so sure that affiliate marketers are the best people to be participating anyway. People who evaluate ads day in day out for their business are probably not representative of the population in general. Maybe getting in touch with a respected mid size UK freebies or shopping network would be a good idea. As long as participation and the £50 Amazon vouchers don't come with more strings than a harp they would be able to give you a decent spread of people and large enough sample size fairly rapidly from visitor participation. As long as you rewarded the site promoting your research for their endeavours and agreed a capped limit everyone could be happy. Or is that just me being completely naive that it should be that easy?

No it's not just you Mogga - I dipped out once it wanted to install Quicktime too - I've got enough things installed on my pc already without installing another one just to complete a survey.

Well, I have Quicktime so filled it out. Interesting questionnaire. I honestly don't believe that being involved in AM will have much bearing on how anyone answers these questions, though. The questions are much more wide ranging than that.

Yeah I think I blame quicktime for the last reinstal I needed too so I just avoid it.
