    Hi peeps...

I want to know do any of you lot actually have good communication with Affiliate Managers.

I only say because this week I must have emailed them 10 times, about two different situations and its really starting to piss me off.

When I joined these two scheme's, I emailed and within no time at all they were in contact, and the site setup.. I was amazed by how good they were... Any question answered like they were waiting for it!

Now tho, I'm seriously considering dropping these schemes as they seem more hassle than its worth. My site domains are not properly configured on one site - and its serving their own pages (its a whitelabel) and the other well... I dunno.. I wanted to point more domains and nothing, no word.

What's worse is I bothered to join them after reading this forum... And I feel like I should "Name & Shame"... Why should anyone else bother there ass wasting money trying to setup a scheme when the managers pay no attention in helping you out. (I was asking VERY SIMPLE QUESTIONS)

Am I barking up the wrong tree here by asking to much? Or are they soooo busy getting back to me can take a while? Or is it because I'm such small fry they believe its ok to just ignore me?

Because I was thinking, what a great idea it would be to promise affiliate schemes - take the incoming domains / plus adwords and then to ignore them completely means good profit - no?

Sorry about this being a bit of a rant - but is this a common problem in the affiliate scene?

Most affliate managers I have been fortunate to meet have been really pleasant, and some are total stars. What doesn't help is when some networks still don't have contact details for merchants on the interface, and either refuse to provide them when requested, don''t reply / ignore to emails or phone calls, or even claim they don't know.

Maybe ask on the forum for someone to PM you if they know a telephone number. It's sometimes easier to try on the blower than awaiting a response by email.

    Only this week?
It might be they are on holiday - but that's what an autoresponder is for.

the ones i deal with regularly are in general very good (claire at OMG, matt at DGM spring to mind) by very good i mean that they tend to respond pretty promptly and honestly - even if it's bad news they at least usually give it straight, rather than fobbing me off with excuses. can't really ask more than that IMO.
If i start to think anyone is either lying, or avoiding me, i'll stop using their network immediately.

If you're just dealing by email it could well be that there is a problem with their email or your email or they could be away as Mogga says. If you've emailed them 10 times this week (considering you posted on Tuesday evening), they could have been in meetings Monday/Tuesday - training, interviews etc, there are any number of possibilities.

When I have a problem with something important I use the telephone, if you don't have a direct phone number for the affiliate manager of the campaign then you're always going to have a problem. I know it's frustrating when you don't get a response from something but you should give them time to respond
