Webtistic are excited to announce the launch of Profitistic.co.uk, a new affiliate marketing network based in the United Kingdom.

Profitistic has been launched as a means of allowing online merchants to enter the affiliate marketing industry without having to endure high set-up costs and minimum monthly fees. This is achieved through the abolishment of all costs associated with joining the network, ensuring that all merchant fees are entirely performance-related.

“The rationale behind affiliate marketing should dictate that networks are only paid when a merchants campaign achieves a certain level of success. The current culture of huge set-up costs and high monthly minimums distort this and act as a barrier to entry for many merchants, and we felt this was unjustified. We are aiming our service at those merchants who can offer our affiliates quality campaigns whilst seeking to raise awareness around their brand,” said Dave Bird, affiliate marketing manager of Profitistic.

Affiliates who partner with Profitistic can expect to benefit from this pricing policy through the emergence of fresh and interesting brands into the affiliate marketing channel.

Bird continued, “many of the current networks will accept established brands only, but we are excited by the fact that there are many high-quality, innovative merchants and advertisers who are emerging into the online market and who will be able to benefit from the service of a network as never before. This will, in turn, provide our affiliate partners with a wider range of merchant’s offers to run and the associated revenue benefits’.

Profitistic will offer commissions to affiliates upon the generation of leads, sales, clicks, impressions and other performance metrics. Affiliates will also benefit from reliable tracking technology, fast payouts, and friendly, experienced affiliate managers who will assist in offering advice on maximising affiliate revenues.

Definately room for a zero-cost network and assuming they have a decent system and team behind them they may well make quick work of taking on a lot of smaller merchants.

Will be interesting to see if any other networks abolish their fees if merchants start to jump ship. Time will tell.

I've got a small merchant site which is slowly dying due to lack of updates. I'm planning on a relaunch towards the end of this month and this could be right up my street!

Looks cool, will definately look into it.
Shame they are another one using directtrack IMHO though. So another network that'll go down from time to time (directtrack seems a bit flakey lately as far as I've seen - not to mention it's pretty basic in terms of reporting etc).

Still, if they can get the merchants, should be good

Good luck - a similar model to Afform which is doing quite well recently.

I wish you well but I do wonder whether there is room in the UK for yet another network - not trying to put you down but you really are offering nothing new, as others have said Afform already works on the zero fee model (and other networks will remove their fees if you push them enough)

Thank you all for your feedback and support... it all helps, and thank you Matt for the official introduction.

In addition to no set-up fees, we have also abolished any monthly minimum fees, so merchants only pay when we (and our affiliates) perform.

We are indeed using the DirectTrack system and I have to say that we are very pleased with its functionality and stability so far. I guess time will tell on this! We currently have 120 or so offers on board, many of which have been published through Directtrack partners, but over time these will be bolstered by our own merchants (which is already starting to happen).

One thing that I should also add that probably doesn't come across in the original post is that, rather than be the 'bargain basement' of networks in terms of merchants, we will only accept quality, progressive merchants who we believe can offer our affiliates something worthwhile.

Since we officially launched on Monday the feedback from potential partners has been excellent and we have agreed to take on four new direct merchants, and have declined six others as we didn't feel they were a 'good-fit' for the network.

Finally, I agree that there are plenty of UK networks, some good and some bad, but we believe there is a space for a low-cost network such as ours who can help nurture the small & medium sized merchants and help them thrive in the online channel.

Again, I guess time will tell, but we are certainly ready to give it a go!

Good luck guys - refreshing to see an affiliate network abolishing the barriers to entry and it will be interesting to see how the recruitment of merchants go.

I may well recommend you to a few merchants that would be interested in this model and have not been able to launch an affiliate campaign due to the set-up & management fees

    Cheers,
    Simon

We welcome any challenging of the traditional network fee structure mentality, good luck.

    Hi all,

The network actually launched when Matt's original post was made just over a month ago, so thanks for revisiting

John: We are due to add a merchant directory to the site over the next week or so. Currently we have mostly CPA and lead offers, but we are taking on more and more UK revshare sales merchants. You can see some of the offers we have been adding over at the 'other networks' forum here at a4u.

Simon: Thank you for your kind words. The response from merchants has been fantastic, and we are adding new programmes every day. Inevitably, we are working on increasing our affiliate base, but ths has also been very encouraging so so-far, so-good!

Duncan: Again, thank you for your comments. I believe that the traditional fees will have to fade away as they become unjustified. We believe in being paid for performance, rather than being paid for 'promises of success'. Interestingly, some merchants we have spoken to think this is 'too good to be true', so we now need to work on results as a means of enhancing our reputation. It will take time, but we are up for the challenge
