We at pagerank10.co.uk are now in a position to give ALL our csv productfeed scripts away for free.

All we ask is for you to not remove the link back to our website which is in the footer of each script.

The site will now be funded by our api scripts, sponsored ads, affiliate links to networks and donations via paypal to sales@pagerank10.co.uk

More free scripts will be added and updated as usual so please keep checking back.

If you are a merchant we would be very grateful if you would put a link to your script from a relevent page on your website or request a script if we have not yet written one.

I'm not one of them but what about all the people who have paid in the past? Do they get refunds?

    No.

If we doubled the price of our scripts instead of making them free, would we expect the previous customers to pay us extra?

Is commission still paid through the affiliate program for the paid for scripts?

If I bought a script at say £20 last week and discovered that this week it was free, I wouldn't be too best pleased. I would feel ripped off.

If I bought a script at £20 last week and this week it was £30, I would feel I have a bargain.

    That's human nature.

I just think its wrong to offer something at £x and then after a few people have bought it, offer it free.

I did not pay for the scripts so now they are free I say what a bargain I appreciate where csn is coming from but even at £20 they were a great deal.
If you dont know anything about setting up feeds for yourself would cost more than £20 to get a programmer to do it for you.

Yeah, I see where csn is coming from also, but its not possible to give refunds and still offer free scripts, the site would simply close and everyone would lose out.

When we charged for the scripts we didnt have any sponsored ads on the actual shop section of the site, and now we have which enables us to make them free.

I've just taken advantage of this kind offer. Very easy to set up and makes a more useful site than the out of date info I did have on the site, until I do something proper with it. Cheers!

I bought one about 10 days ago and bearing in mind I know how long it takes to sort a feed site out from scratch I reckon the scripts were cheap anyway.. and I certainly don't now feel ripped off.

1 day of my developers time is worth multiples of what a few scripts would cost so I considered it a bargain.

feck me .. and now you want a refund for any bought previously.. jeez man get a grip.. it's £30 a pop ... for something that would save you hours if not days of work

and now they are in a position to give them away .. where they were not before you think they should compensate for that ???

surely on that basis then any commission increase a merchant gives should be back dated to the year dot as .. if they can do it now then they must always have been in a position to do it ?

maybe if I'd bought them all I'd be thinking.. DOH.. DOH.. but then it's still a case of they are excellent value even at full price so don't look back.. look forward and get the sites up and earn the cash back in no time

I am more than happy with the scripts that I have purchased over the last few months. The only problem I have with them now being free is that I will be looking to reg more domains for each of the scripts.

I'd like to thank Lee & Vincent for an excellent product for a short term development solution.

Good luck guys with your future developments.

For those of us that have hundreds of good quality domain names that we're not using and don't have the time to add content then adding products from merchants using Lee's system is a no brainer!

My advice would be to somehow randomise the links back to your site - probably matching them with the theme of the template in use???

Just an idea. But I'll certainly be downloading some tomorrow and have no problems in sending other people your way.

And if there's any paid for solutions down the line, I'd sure like to know.
Do you have products for review on my chocolate reviews or Easter eggs blog?s PM me.

downloaded a few for some dead domains. Got a site up and running in 3 mins would have been quicker but I mistyped my domain name in the setup script.
My thoughts though as a long term solution is that it will fall foul of duplicate content, can anyone suggest ways to make the pages more unique, and url more friendly.

    Hi Purple,

I have been using these scripts for a while now and there are a lot of ways that you can modify them to make them more SEO friendly. The category URLs are pretty good anyway it's just the product page URLs that seem to be untidy but with a bit of META hacking in the code you can improve the overall page quality. If you know PHP there are some easy fixes/ mods that you can add. Also I have found improving the descriptions in the datafeed helps.
