Ooh, another trip back to "Frog Mannor" I think.
Last year's event was great and look forward to another one in warmer conditions rather than the January freeze.
Date for the diary!
We are pleased to be holding a ‘summer networking event’ for the affiliate marketing community on Friday 20th July 2007; there will be no presentations or agenda, just pure networking.
Bristol was a sell out crowd when everyone ventured to our home city last year, and we expect the event to be even more popular this time round.
We also have an extra special 'west country' band who we will be announcing shortly!!
We are looking for a handful of sponsors who can help cover and reduce the costs for this special event, please contact Claire Hoyland on 01179 723 269 If you would like to put your company in the spotlight!
Many Thanks,
Matthew

Could you recommend a dog-friendly hotel or kennels in the area Matt?
We're off to the Lake District with the dogs on the Saturday, so shaving 2 hours off the drive up by coming to Bristol on the Friday would be great, but I don't think you'll fancy two mad springer spaniels running around the place lol.

This one is around the corner, arguably one of the best hotels in Bristol too
http://www.hotelduvin.com/bristol/bristol_welcome.asp - they do allow dogs by appoinment!
We will post up recommended hotels for everyone soon, best keep an eye on www.a4uevents.com
Nice one Matt, a home event for me, so definitely one to pop in the calender will have to put the misses off going on holiday so i can make this one.
Any ideas on venue will it be a city centre one, and a night or day event

Can't speculate on the entertainment just yet!
We have reserved the best rooms at @Bristol, its a central city location with plenty of inexpensive hotels, cafe's, restaurants, casinos, clubs and bars nearby.
Still looking for sponsors for this event, we expect this one to attract a large % of affiliates, so its a great opportunity - contact Claire on 01179 723269 for details.
More details on @ bristol can be found below.

ooo @bristol (love that area)
Shame they've closed the IMAX and Wildwalk although UWE may be buying them (sorry went a bit off track there)
In a past life, I had to do some photos of @bristol, which ended up on the wall of a pub somewhere in the Clifton Triangle. Last time I checked, the place had been rebranded again, and there were just a couple left.
This looks like the third year in a row there's an A4U event on my birthday. I stupidly missed Brighton in '05, last year's Glasgow was a cracker, so I'm sure this year's Bristol will be good too.
That saves me from having to make any efforts to organise anything myself, so Matt, I'm sure I'll be more than happy to stick a few notes behind the bar.
As this one is on a Friday (20072007 is a very easy date to remember - no excuses please), we'll certainly be making a weekend of this. If anyone goes to Bristol and does not walk over the Clifton Suspension Bridge, then they are committing a true sacrilege, and we can't have Isambard spinning in his grave!
I hope we'll get to visit Cheddar Gorge at the very least, but I'm sure Matt & others can suggest other local must see places - but I suppose I shouldn't mention that other Roman town just up the road with a famous (and newly remodelled) spa?
Does Visit Britain have an affiliate programme?
Forget the suspension bridge and head here.................
