Any Recommendations for Email Marketing Software?

Hi,

Would anyone recommend an email marketing software company to work with?

I am working with a client who is currently sending out their own email campaigns using their internal system which is proving to be not the most reliable and also is retricted in terms of segmentation, reporting etc.

I have heard of Lyris, Emailvision and Cheetahmail as alternatives but was wondering if anyone was keen to share any opinions on experience working with them or other packages?

Hi,

Well, I suppose it depends on what you/the client wants from the email provider.
Would you be wanting a completely managed service, an asp (online self-service), or a hybrid?
Also, it depends on budget, as some providers charge per email sent, where as others charge a fixed amt. per month with unlimited send.

We are just coming through to the end of a 5 month tender process for a new email service provider , so any questions, pls feel free to pm.
