The Best Affiliate Incentive Ever!!!

Hi All,

First of all, I just wanted to thank Dan & Graham from Buyagift.co.uk for benchmarking UK's affiliate incentive.

Some of you might remember:

Well, as one of the very lucky winners, all I can is that it was WAY better than it looks!

Among other things, we: rented 4 supercars for a day (recreating our own Gumball race), went on 2 helicopter rides, one of which took us for a picnic in the Grand Canyon, had gourmet food in some of the best restaurants, went VIP clubbing in fantastic venues, rented 4 different limos including 2 streched Hummers, went to a Crazy Horse show... and many many other things that the free boozing made me partly forget.

Unbelievable time! I cannot wipe this grin of my face now.

Again, massive big thanks to Buyagift for this event. You guys are treating your affiliates so well, I don't think any merchant can ever beat that!

Yep indeed, a massive thanks to Graham & Dan at Buyagift. It was a terrific few days & first class hospitaility all the way.

What made it even better was that it was a really good crowd too with some affiliates I had never had the privilege of meeting before.

I 've blogged a summary of what we did, but it was go, go, go all the trip. Superb & Great Fun.

as promised, the first set of pictures:

Top one is Graham and Niel fresh out of the Roush modified Mustang.

Then there is Paul and Wardy pulling up in the brand new E55 AMG.

Finally, Steve and Richard in the 500 Maranello.

Congrats again to Richard who had to face his fear of driving... he hadn't driven in eight years of living in London... and had to step into a 500 bhp Ferrari, with a manual gearbox and on the right (or wrong) side of the road!

I'd also like to thank Graham, Dan and buyagift as I had a lovely weekend at home alone as QGJ was on this trip. I haven't stopped hearing about it since . Seriously though I don't think it's an easy one for any merchant to top.

I would also like to add a public thank you to buyagift and especially Dan & Graham for giving us what is without doubt a trip of a lifetime.
It was superbly organised and our days were extreemly well planned and filled up with stuff to do!
It also goes to show that 2.5 hours sleep per night really is enough if you want to get up to do more stuff (well, other than those who kept going for naps)

Yep certainly was a fantastic long weekend, made all the better by the great bunch of people....good to get you grubby guys out of your bedrooms for the weekend

I've tried a few experiences over the years, but driving those cars on the open road tops the lot, and we didn't even go over the 5MPH speed limit

Over the next few weeks I'll be putting together some form of site together to highlight what we done over the weekend, and get loads of videos and photos up.

The task now begins to start planning the next 'Golden Quarter' Christmas incentive, although this one will certainly be hard to top! Don't forget that our incentives are open to all - it's not just the top affiliates who win, we also have categories such as best new affiliate, most improved and also a prize draw!

It was a truly tremendous weekend, many thanks to Graham & Dan from Buyagift and great to meet a few new faces amongst the affiliates too. Most fun I'd had in a long time (even if I look like a miserable git in some of these photos!).

Love the Roush Mustang! Looks like you had a fantastic time guys, well done to Buyagift for offering such a fantastic incentive.

The Roush Mustang was in fact the slowest of the bunch.

I did try really hard to smoke those tyres and couldn't... and I suspect there was something wrong with the compressor as we couldn't hear it spin.

Plenty fast still with stock 300BHP or so :P

Oh, I know that but I have a real soft spot for muscle cars. In fact the one thing that I regretted not doing when I was in Vegas in January was hiring a Dodge Charger for a few days. Not to worry, there will be another time!

What a weekend.....I've just about recovered...must be getting old.

It was a pleasure driving with you Romain. You are a legend - the only man to scare me in a sports car...

Seriously, it was one of the best 4 days of my life. I'd like to say a big thank you to the six affiliates who came with us for doing it large in Vegas.
