Do networks pay affiliates for referring merchants?

I've recently been getting a few requests from merchants without affiliate programs for advertising space/product listing on my sites.

As I'm not really geared towards charging for advertising I'm wondering if any networks pay affiliates for introducing merchants to them (an ongoing revenue share would be good )

Do any affiliates have any experience of this or alternatively do any networks/agencies wanna bribe me.

Yes, this is something that I also want to do, I contacted affiliate window and they said they would get back to me.... The other networks (Buy.at and Affiliate Future) still have not replied.....

Most of the networks will pay you something - how much depends on how good the merchant is, what the potential is, and what deal you can negotiate.

That said, personally I would always introduce the merchant to the network that I felt would be best for them, and not on how much I stood to make from the introduction.

It was a while back but I got 10% of the (annual overall fee) sign up fee for referring a merchant with an overseas network.

I thought all networks offered this....without limited cookie either.
