I've got an idea for a site and I'm thinking of a domain name for it. The thing is I can't get my mind away from using the word "accessories" in the URL. Part of the website's target audience might not be the best spellers.

I know Google suggests the correct spelling of a word if you do accesories or acessories - so am I just worrying for nothing?

    Any thoughts?

You want a domain name that people will remember, or one with a prominant keyword relevant to your site.

"accesories" can be a rather generic word, and as you said easily mispelt.

Chuck accessories through a thesaurus and see if anything better comes up.

Use the overture keyword tool or maybe the traffic tools within a Google AdWords ac to determine how often the phrase is misspelt and then if it's significant register the misspelt domains as well.

I just bought a domain for a fair amount with a hard to spell word - but it really is the only word that fits the product that is being developed for it. Also, I'd expect the target market to not have trouble with it.

If you can avoid it, do so - if not, be prepared to buy the most common misspelling too.
