I have a contract with a company which was recently bought by a massive entity, neither the entity nor any of the subsidiary companies talk to me properly, they lie, deceive, fail to reveal the future and basically treat me and others like scum.
Could someone advise please, is the only way to get a reasoned polite response to open up dialogue through a solicitor or is the situation simply doomed to fail? Would I have to sue at the same time? Could I claim that their non-disclosure and failure to communicate is a way of forcing me to leave on my own accord rather than them dispensing with my services as a contractor?
What would I sue for? breach of contract, failing to supply information when requested? it's not exactly the most comprehensive contract ever written, in fact I wouldn't even call it a contract. What can I do to make them talk? Do I just write letters to people at the company and try and figure out who is now responsible because the people I speak to at the moment don't answer in full and don't tell me what's going on.
I used to lose my temper a lot but now I can't even be bothered to do that but surely there's a way of making a company talk, they just ignore all of us. I really can't believe it. Any advice greatly appreciated. The company as some of you will know already, is BskyB (They bought the company I
am contracted to). The bigger they get, the more of a b****** they are.
Cheers
