With CD Wow having their bank accounts frozen I hope the relevant networks don't have any outstanding invoices.

Just received notification that they've been suspended for non-payment by Webgains. Given that this fine was only handed out yesterday, I wonder if there is more going on behind the scenes at cd-wow than first appears.
Of course, it could just be Webgains playing safe (nothing wrong with that). Still running normally on Awin though.
Hi guys,
With reference to the above quote:If people are looking for opportunities to switch their links, dgmAffiliates have a high converting programme with 101 CD. 101 are one of CD WOW's largest competitors and indeed one of the UK’s largest online music retailers, they offer customers a massive range of chart and back-catalogue CDs, DVDs and merchandise. They have a strong brand name and their catalogue of products is enough to rival anyone in the market place.Just received notification that they've been suspended for non-payment by Webgains
If you want more info, please contact me or log into dgmPro.
Cheers
Kev
This will not affect the entire business but it will have implications within the EU. May be worth asking Malcolm at Buy.at what the situation is in respect of separate marketing divisions as CD-WOW US is still active and should not be affected by the UK court case. Plus the parent is based in Hong Kong, so if CD-WOW were operating through a UK subsidiary then they would probably fold that, the BPI get sweet FA, affiliate commissions (unless guaranteed) are affected for UK based programs and they will continue to operate other overseas divisions.

Hello all, I have been in touch with my contact at CD-WOW and it is business as usual as far as we are concerned.
As always affiliates and CD WOW have the ongoing support of buy.at today and moving forward, CD WOW is an established brand and we will be the first to let you know any developments regarding affiliate activity.
If anyone has any issues or worries then please contact me direct,
Many thanks,
CD WOW! have now resolved payment issues at Webgains and the program is once again live. No commissions were lost and payment to affiliates will be made on a weekly basis as usual.
Fair play to CD WOW! (and webgains) for getting through this present situation so well, and looking after its affiliates. £41m cannot be taken lightly, they must have been making a fortune before they were stopped lol
This is a hugely competitive market, and with the guys at Lik Sang also recently ceasing operations, there may be trouble ahead.
Good luck to CD WOW! though. My personal experience as a customer has always been very positive.
