Just watched it, and whilst it was pretty basic (I know what a MMORPG is thanks), it did provide an interesting insight to the multiplayer gaming industry.

Interesting to note a budget for one of those games is $30-$50m, but can generate revenues of $400m a year.

An interesting possibility is advertising your affiliate sites within Second Life.

Well, major multinationals such as Reebok and Sony Music are already promoting themselves within Second Life, so I expect affiliates could do the same.

Hmmm , interesting , i just joined , it takes a lot of getting used to though , so i don't know how well it will catch on with the average Joe . But with 3 million already joined seems it has a market .

I have just been trying out all the features , and click undress , and cannot redress (it doesn't appear to allow you to create a new shirt etc.?)

I can see it working for big brands (if you own the trademark), and see some people are selling parallel world addresses like knightsbridge in London - how does that work - do you buy an "island" and call it Knightsbridge?
