  Google adsense hypothetical question

Ok if you had 100 websites and you were receiving 5 clicks each day on your sites on your google adsense adverts.

What would you say *COULD* be your possible earnings per day from google adsense ?

Ie 500 clicks in one day ?

I know the cost of ech click is different, but just an average figure ?

This is to settle an argument I have with someone lol !

Thanks

  Re: Google adsense hypothetical question

'Hyperthertically' probably anywhere between $60 a click and 1c a click!?

However 'hyperthetically' if I had an account it would earn around $55 per 500 clicks with about a 2% ctr on avarage with obvious differences between content sites.

Wow $55 for 500 clicks thats terribly low ?? thats only 11 cents per click earned ? seems very low.

I told him on average he could probably get about 50-70 cents per click so approx $250-350 from 500 clicks.

He reckons alot higher than that he could make and I disagree

I don't use adsense any more, but when I did, it was extremely rare to get 50-70 cent clicks - even in 'high cpc' markets.

The usual would be around 10c per click.

I recently purchased a site that receives approx 300,000 page views a day, and that was only making around $50 a day with Adsense - not worth bothering with, so I removed it when I took ownership.

I can quote you quite accurately on the numbers as one of my sites gets around 500 clicks a week on adsense.
The return is around $35 which is around 7 cents a click.

  Re: Google adsense hypothetical question

Adsense for me has been extremely good.
I have had earnings in excess of $2.90 per click in a very niche market
( i.e. less that 2 million results on google for well targeted words )

If you would like more help & advice i'd be happy to offer it

I used to make a fortune on adsense before i sold all of my main domains
I also used to own an adsense coaching site
Good friends with Joel & when i closed my site down i gave him all of my members
Now I just create well optimised sites & also optimise sites for a high earning / ctr
so with my experience im sure i could help

Anyway if you want any help just let me know

Just ask that anyone wanting help doesnt PM as the inbox is nealry full instead reply to this post & i will help when i can

  Re: Google adsense hypothetical question

I dont get a very high ctr because if I can identify what people are looking for when they get to my site I take the adsense off and put my own af links up!

It totally depends on what market your in really, personally I dont do much with adsense anymore because the dollar is so low the earnings are hardly worth the hastle.

I do agree with barry...
if its a really targeted site you may be able to maximise earnings better with well placed & designed aff links.

But it is all down the the conversion of the aff product

  Re: Google adsense hypothetical question

I`m currently getting around $200 per 500 clicks, although the daily amount varies a lot. Some clicks are worth pennies, whereas others are worth pounds and theres no rhyme or reason to it!

Freetimer
I hope you don't mind me pushing in on your kind offer to our A4Uforum colleague.
Please could you tell me if the CTR rate for adsense determines the actual click amount. I assumed the click amount was the same for any specific advert but different depending on the topic.

One of my sites is showing for the last 2 weeks: Adsense: 1003 clicks, CTR 6.09%, $68.47 earnings
Does this seem ok? I am not sure what would be average?

Regards
Paul
