'Hyperthertically' probably anywhere between $60 a click and 1c a click!?
However 'hyperthetically' if I had an account it would earn around $55 per 500 clicks with about a 2% ctr on avarage with obvious differences between content sites.

Ok if you had 100 websites and you were receiving 5 clicks each day on your sites on your google adsense adverts.
What would you say *COULD* be your possible earnings per day from google adsense ?
Ie 500 clicks in one day ?
I know the cost of ech click is different, but just an average figure ?
This is to settle an argument I have with someone lol !
Thanks

any other opinions ?
I don't use adsense any more, but when I did, it was extremely rare to get 50-70 cent clicks - even in 'high cpc' markets.
The usual would be around 10c per click.
I recently purchased a site that receives approx 300,000 page views a day, and that was only making around $50 a day with Adsense - not worth bothering with, so I removed it when I took ownership.
I can quote you quite accurately on the numbers as one of my sites gets around 500 clicks a week on adsense.
The return is around $35 which is around 7 cents a click.
Adsense for me has been extremely good.
I have had earnings in excess of $2.90 per click in a very niche market
( i.e. less that 2 million results on google for well targeted words )
If you would like more help & advice i'd be happy to offer it
I used to make a fortune on adsense before i sold all of my main domains
I also used to own an adsense coaching site

I dont get a very high ctr because if I can identify what people are looking for when they get to my site I take the adsense off and put my own af links up!
It totally depends on what market your in really, personally I dont do much with adsense anymore because the dollar is so low the earnings are hardly worth the hastle.
I do agree with barry...
if its a really targeted site you may be able to maximise earnings better with well placed & designed aff links.
But it is all down the the conversion of the aff product
I`m currently getting around $200 per 500 clicks, although the daily amount varies a lot. Some clicks are worth pennies, whereas others are worth pounds and theres no rhyme or reason to it!
hi tbp ,
still relatively low in my opinion ..... whats the CTR ?
i know you cant divuldge too much but as i said in my previous post if i can help i will

I hope you don't mind me pushing in on your kind offer to our A4Uforum colleague.
Please could you tell me if the CTR rate for adsense determines the actual click amount. I assumed the click amount was the same for any specific advert but different depending on the topic.
One of my sites is showing for the last 2 weeks: Adsense: 1003 clicks, CTR 6.09%, $68.47 earnings
Does this seem ok? I am not sure what would be average?
Regards
Paul
Hi,
no i dont mind at all
with any site that i develop or optimise i always aim for at least a 19% CTR
my highest site gets a consistent 26%
The Earning per click depends on many factors
i.e Page strength ( keyword wise )
the current adwords value ( example : #1 on adwords for debt management costs £5.00 per click ( i know its higher ) then you would earn approximately 22% i think it is although i have spent ages trying to determine the actual earning forumla )
traffic & obviously the advert clicked
So while the CTR doesnt directly increase the EPC ( Earnings per click ) it will obviously increase your earnings
Also for the folowing :
Adsense: 1003 clicks, CTR 6.09%, $68.47 earnings
What topic is your site about and 6% is extremely low ...
With 1000 clicks regardless of the niche i'd expect to make at least $200 - $300
If you want to pm my your site URL i can take a look at your site and give you a review on how i would change the adsense layout etc to maximse the CTR

I get around 500 clicks a day on one of my sites, which translates to $80-$150 a day.
The good thing with adsense is it's totally reliable income. From month to month it correlates pretty exactly to how much traffic you have. Unlike other advertising where the income can fluctuate a lot.
So if you had 500 clicks then you will could earn around $50 - $100 a day. This is only an estimate going on an overall Google Adsense average earnings per click of $0.10 - $0.20. Although I would imagin they are the overall Adsense averages, but I could be wrong.
