  Google Adwords Question?

I currently run a large Google adwords campaign for a niche market, and I want to expand and create another site and also promote it via Google adwords.

But I have tried to set this up and it seems I can only ‘advertise’ one site at a time for the same keywords? Is this true?

Is there any way around it? Create a new account?

Thanks

Mark

  Re: Google Adwords Question?

Usually you can only have ads for one site showing for the same keywords. See if this helps you

  Re: Google Adwords Question?

I think the point here is that google want customers to have choice.
They don't want ALL the adverts to be for the same thing from the same company.
Personally I wouldn't try and get around it by creating a new account etc. If google find out what you're doing they're unlikely to be impressed.
I'd contact google and say what you're doing, show them the adverts in question, and ask if it's possble to get them to both show - if they are different enough they might say yes.

There a quite a few other networks and ppc search engines though. If you take the initial time to set up and optimise your campaigns you could get more than enough traffic. Not to mention cheaper cpc.

yes you can get quite good trffic from other ppc ssearch engines, but i know Mark (Original poster) and know he means large levels of traffic which other ppc's cannot really provide

  Re: Google Adwords Question?

No doubt google are the best for volume, that's why everyone uses adwords. But if he can't set up another campaign for the same keywords, advertising with 2+ competitors looks like the best answer.

  Re: Google Adwords Question?

I believe Google allow you to create a new account if it is for a site which is unrelated to the one you already have an account for - I think if you check with Adwords support you can provide them with the URl's and they can let you know if they think the sites are unrelated enough to warrant you setting up a new account.

Regards
