I'm not sure what you call it, but Google just gave one of my sites an enhanced listing. The sort of listing where you see the main site URL and then an indented set of URL's with your sub pages. Here's an example - http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...+extreme&meta= . The A4U Forum used to have a listing like this before the re-design.
Does anyone know how Google selects sites to be listed in this way, is it a manual process?
I've noticed some interesting things about the sub page links. The title seems to follow the link text you use for links to that page and not the real page title as you'd expect. Google also seem to be tracking these links as they're all wrapped in Google tracking code.

James - I think Top5Kit is talking about Google returning indented inner pages under his own listing when searching for the brand - Google say this is purely automated ie, the inner pages with greatest link popularity - the key pages from your site (normally those linked from every page, eg about us, contact etc) will be given these links - Google call them 'snippet links' (search for snippet links on google and you'll get loads of info)

Can't remember if G have a special name for it, but I always call it a "mini-sitemap". The core functionality is 4 years old, although I don't think they started this particular UI tweak until about 2 - 2.5 years ago.
It's keyword specific, and occurs when the #1 result would have had an indented #2 also, but has such a large lead over the #3 that they get this special treatment. The extra links are taken from the text of the #1 page (usually the home page, partially as a function of how it works, which also explains the use of anchor text as clickable link), and are just databased and listed in trust order. I've seen examples of sites having listings with links that don't exist any more (where the HP is very dynamic, and a databased, but popular, page was selected, d/b'ed, and then moved from the HP)
Top5 - I've Just found a post matt cutts did on these a couple of years ago which might explain it better

The top and bottom of it is if this has just started happening then you're going in the right direction and Google likes you![]()
Can anyone tell me what is required for my website CoopersDirect.com - first for Tools, Electrical, Plumbing, Gardening, Decorating and more... to get an enhanced Google listing?
The site has been around for nearly 4 years, we seem to be popular and successful for the Home & Garden products that we sell. We come top of Google searches, but still only a normal listing. Is it lack of links perhaps?![]()
