I did have a folder of favourites on the subject but it doesn't look like I saved it when changing PCs. If you start from the Wikipedia article then it links to a lot of information on the subject.
Two quick pointers. The method is patented so expect to pay license fees if you use it - though I couldn't find any details on licensing. Also it is computationally expensive to perform the singular value decomposition so don't expect to be able to handle large matrices on a normal PC in reasonable time.
