Where can I take my auto salvage website?

Hi guys, I have an auto salvage website that is about six months old, it's nothing special at all as I'm not reallly up there with web design. It originally came about because my other half is into salvage and was always looking for UK salvage online but couldn't find an actual list so I searched the web and listed them in a word doc. I then started selling it on ebay for £2 and made a few hundred pounds until the sales tailed off. I then thought I might as well just do a simle webpage and direct people to that, not thinking it would get any real traffic.
Anyway it gets between 150 and 200 uniques a day and I am just sending these websites FREE traffic without making anything myself as it's not as if any of them have affiliate programmes. On a good day I'll make £2.50 in Adsense!
So my question is does anyone have any ideas on how I can make any revenue from this website and which directions I can take it? I hope this isn't behind the realms of free advice.

Thanks in advance and you can view the website here.

I thought you said you were new to all this Kylah! I wish I had that much traffic to work with! lol

I would guess that it would be pretty hard to do any kind of affiliate scheme with these type of companies because from experience you just submit a request and they call you back. Maybe this could be done on a 'leads' basis though.

Maybe you should just get in touch with the individual companies and ask if they'd like to pay for advertising. i.e. Different rates for bold headings, top of page, maybe a weekly feature company etc.

Actually scrap what i said first, i've just had a closer look at the site and I see most of them do auctions, so maybe an affiliate scheme is an option.

Either way it looks like the site has potential, good luck with it!

Geoff

I'd say put advertising of some sort between every third or fourth listing, either adsense or text ads for related products such as that magazine you have a link for at the top. That way you have ads in the main content, which is where visitors are focusing.

Kylah

You have a few links without any tracking codes to them e.g breakdown, insurance etc. Its a shame to loose out on potential sales.

You may want to add some finance banners to your site and I would put an image of the Auto Express on the top of the page to make it more appealing
