you need a stronger call to action for each link, you want nice big clear juciy CLICK HERE buttons, and the logo's need to be linked too

on my pc your current click here links are grey and hide on the page.. make em big and clear like the buttons on the forum are for edit, quote and click etc.

As stated, the click here is too small and the wrong colour and you haven't bothered to alter the mouseover or hyperlink click thru colours.

Double check your coding. The following link may help to identify some areas you need to look at .. [Invalid] Markup Validation of http://www.best-breakdown.co.uk/ - W3C Markup Validator

You need some external links asap!

Google doesn't appear to have a cache of the site, try looking up "google add url" on Google.

Have a look at developing your robots.txt file.

Add a xml sitemap and a html sitemap.

    Hope this helps a bit.

Funky Monkey... I have created both an XML & PHP/html sitemap which are now live, however, i cannot seem to get google webmasters to access it. No matter what i try in the Robots.txt file, it will not allow google access.

Could you please hint me in the right direction with the robots file, as it is something that is new to me!

    Cheers

The robots file is used to exclude search engines from certain areas, so thatis not your problem.

Just looking at your site, I'm struggling to find any use for it. If I was searching for breakdown cover, I would go straight to the service provider.

Is there anything unique and useful that this site offers?

I was going to say the same thing.
Yes, I am novice so, technically I'm at the bottom of the curve, I was quite impressed with your site but as hooperman said why would I use it?

If I was in the market I'd go direct to one of the main companies - at the moment, all things being equal (and forgetting what comisssion I could get) I'd go straight to Direct Line. That's just what I'd do - can't explain why, I just would.

The only way I'd go through your site is if there was some incentive to do so - and it would have to be good. No reflection on you, as I said I think your site is good, but, for me, I'd just prefer to deal direct on this kind of thing.

I think your talents would be best utilized elswhere!

Hope that's ok - I thought you wanted an honest answer and that's just what came out.

    Best Wishes

I'm not a techie but I think your "site-map.php" would be better as a "sitemap.html".

Whilst the robots.txt file is used to 'exclude' bots, I've always found it useful to have a correctly configured one. Send me a PM on this subject.

Remember that even if Google indexes the site, there's no guarantee of traffic. Backlinks are essential with this regard.
