PR6 selling links question

I have a website which I have sold a few text links from (people from A4U can couch for this as they are ongoing customers) and I am now considering selling permanent text links from the site's home page. It will give you a chance to own a permanent text link with your own keywords as anchor text to benefit your website in terms of SEO and SERP.

A total of 250 links would be sold. Links would be permanent. Links would be from a solid PR6 homepage and one way.

The price would be £35 for the link and you can choose any word / words you would like, and there would only be only 1 person allowed 1 keyword - ie there will be no duplicate keywords at all on the site.

The site is very strong and have solid backlinks to evolt.org which is PR9 and are impossible to buy !

I am trying to guage an interest of how many people would be interested in this, before I offer this as an option on the website.

If you are interested in this, then please let me know and I will gather some numbers together.

I am looking for a minimum of about 25 people to have interest in this before I actually offer it yet

hi barry the sector is hosting I have had 3 people interested so far only 22 more to go and I will be opening up the offers.

If anyone is interested then PM me with your chosen keyword then that would be great as I can then reserve it for you until it reaches 25.

There is no max limit of keyword each person can buy, as long as they are different words for different sites / pages

Do you mean 250 links just on the homepage? Or have you got some good content pages as well? If there's 250 external links just on the homepage, it'll do little good buying links on it - will look a bit spammy to the big G. If it's around the site and there's a content match, would defo be interested.

It will be 250 from the homepage. I am not too concerned about google thinking as spam because a). I know of a site with over 500 links on 1 page (PR6) which ranks super high in google for phrases and gives the sites a good boost in the big G and b). it has the back link to evolt.org which is PR9 which is awesome in googles eyes !

I also have 2 "maybes"

Any more takers, as I really do need at least 20-25 keywords before I go ahead with this, so please let me know asap as I will be advertising this elsewhere after today and it is first come first served

Maybe I'm missing a trick here but isn't Google going to say - umm, 250 totally unrelated links on one page, looks like a link farm, so don't pass on the PR (and maybe downgrade the PR of the main site).

Hmmm yeah 250 I didnt read it properly. I would be slightly dubious of the link having any value if there where to be any more than 25 or so external links from the front page.

If you could do something along the lines of pagerank10, wouldnt that be a better idea perhaps?
