bookmarking , how many links does it create?

Hi everyone

Any social bookmarking guru's out there?

Take socialposter, onlywire or socialmarker. If I make a post or a backlink somewhere on the web and social post it. If I submit it to the multiple social bookmarking sites, say 15-20 for example.
Does that create 20 more backlinks to my site basically pointing to that link and then online my site? so basically indirect backlinks

OR

does it just create the 1 backlink, and the social posting just makes the engines aware it is there?
