    New Travel Extras site

    Hi,

Having tried & failed to get anywhere with a cashback website (couldn't compete with all the new arrivals & their big marketing budgets ), I've taken a break, a step "back" & gone for a niche site, offering loads of holiday extras & travel accessories.

I've just submitted the site & have started trying to build up links. The site's SEO is ok (as far as I'm aware) & I'm going to start some PPC. Should have a travel insurance search tool appearing on it soon, with car hire due to appear later.

I'd be very grateful if some of you could take a bit of time to have a look at the site My Travel Extras - holiday extras - airport parking, airport hotels, airport lounges, theatre breaks, theme park breaks, travel insurance & offer any comments (good & bad ) about it.

Would be good to get advice from the experts

    Hi,

    My honest opinion....

The site seems a bit confused about what it is. For example you have airport parking (tick!) that I class as a travel extra, and travel insurance (tick!) that I class as an extra.

But then we have london theatre breaks which, for me, falls int othe short breaks / mini holidays category.

Only my opinion of course but extras I class as things such as, airport transfers, travel insurance, car hire, airport lounges, maybe some sort of currency exchange service? Things that you could book after you know where your going to.

    Again, just my thoughts

    Hiya,

    Thanks for your views

I guess it's a valid point re the mini breaks, but I try to justify it by classing the added attractions of theatre & theme parks as the extras to a hotel stay

Looking at sites like Holiday Extras, they include these things as extras, so I added them into my own site. However, I am also hoping to add car hire, airport transfers & travel money to the site in due course.

    But need some visitors first

    Cheers
