    Hi

I work for an affiliate agency and we have been working with a Car Hire company for a while on the marketing side of things, as ever we like to see what they are like to work with before we introduce them to Affiliate marketing.

Anyway they acknowledged that they were extremely competetive in the USA, but not Europe, as I said this would make it hard to find decent affiliate's willing to promote their programme they asked us to come up with a solution.

Our thoughts were to create a site that only has the USA on there so that all their offers would be competetive, thus only grabbing affiliates who'd be interested inoffering that area and making their sales better.

When I mentioned this to the affiliate network that I spoke to earlier, they sounded a little offish. Maybe it was a late afternoon Friday paranoia, but I can't see the problem, if anything I thought the Merchant was acting appropriately.

    Thoughts please.

    Thanks
    Alex

So use a network geared up for the US that takes car hire merchants. I can think of a few that would be suitable.

Ha ha, interesting, shows that sometimes you can be too close to the project. I hadn't even thought of that.

The site is mainly aimed at UK citizens travelling to America, hence why I approaced a UK affiliate network, and not an American one, however the site is able to accept American customers, so your response wasn't exactly what I was looking for but an extremely useful one, thank you.

I have a limited knowledge of the US affiliate networks, would be interested if you could PM your thought please.

    Thanks
    Alex
