These guys were at the Expo last week. Does anyone use them or have a view?
I'm considering using them but I'm concerned that their articles may result in duplicate content.

Their site is Adfero Group - Strategic Public Affairs

    Hi there,

I used Adfero for a couple of years with one of my sites and they were really good. they wrote the articles for me they were unique.

It is an expensive solution, but if you don't have time to write your own content, i would definitely recommend them. They are quite good at adapting to feedback and tailoring the style to your site.

*disclaimer* this feedback is about 18 months out of date so it assumes that nothing has changed since i used them

I had a couple of meetings with them back in 2006. They did seem a professional bunch and said they had access to about 100 Journalists with a good percentage of them in the finance area.

I think they were based in canary wharf. The service was close to what I wanted but in the end I couldn't get a sample feed of the particular topic without signing a 12 month contract and that was going to cost about £10,000 for 50/60 articles a month.

These are some of the example websites they gave me at the time

    London Stock Exchange - Article
Living life to the full: health guides and news - Accident articles
Politics news, UK politics, UK political news, party politics - politics.co.uk
Mortgages, insurance, bank accounts, credit cards, loans, savings - myfinances.co.uk
Headline news, sport, money and entertainment stories from In The News
Holiday ideas, travel advice and flights at Travelbite.co.uk

Cheers Guys. My research is leading me to agree with all the above comments.

Does anyone have any comments regarding their capabilities outside of Finance. I'd be looking to use them (if at all) for technology info.

They basically rewrit content and make sure the stuff conforms to google news rules......£15 plus per article is steep, as you can get them done for a lot less.

    Hi,

I have had a number of meetings and discussions with them, also extensive research as to how unique the articles are, looks like some unique written for you and some re-written but they say otherwise. It is expensive and you have to sign up for a minimum contract of 1 year and I think 2 articles a day.

I am due to have another meeting on 15th November as apparently they have changed there contracts and terms.

From the research and discussions I would use them...and probably will

I will let you know how the meetings goes

"Edited" Actually does anyone know if there are alterntive similar solutions, without hiring indians or freelance writers?

I’d be interested too if someone is doing it for a lot less.

Hello to everyone that's been discussing our DirectNews service.

The business reads your comments with interest and would like the opportunity to point you in the direction of our websites DirectNews and Adfero - Home

Hopefully this should provide clarity regarding some of the comments raised and in particular, confirm that the news content we generate is truly unique to our clients.

By the way, we do provide a piloting option for those that have shown interest but have a concern over the initial annual commitment.

Please feel free to contact us and one of our Business Development specialists will be more than happy to discuss things further.

    Thank you.

    no problem,

I'll need to have one of our business development team call you and discuss the detail of this.

could i suggest that you visit our website DirectNews and register your details in the "prices and contact" area.

within the comments box, make a note that we've communicated on this forum - thank you.

I am about to use them for a website I am currently working on. The main advantage is that within the 1st year of your contract with Adfero, you would get on Google News.
