    Hi,

For the past 2 years I've been promoting a niche product successfully online with PPC. Over the last 2 weeks I've received e-mails telling me I can no longer promote this product. These last 2 weeks have been terrible.

I've learnt such an important piece of info from this though: diversify.

All the cash I've earnt in the past could of gone towards other websites. Link exchanges, content creation and script coding

What I'm looking for is someone to help me create just £40 profit per day. I'm based in the UK, I have Google AdWords and web hosting and an amount of funds available plus all the time in the world. And I'm also a real nice guy!

So if you feel like helping me out just throw me a PM!

    Hi Krush,

Sorry to hear you've had problems like that. I've lost loads of great merchants / products in that way and I'm sure every other affiliate marketer can relate.

BUT... I think you need to look on the bright side too. YOU created this income stream and it's not easy to achieve what you have. So you should be proud that you've made it so far and look at the cool stuff you've done.

On the up side, every single time I lose a product I find a better one to go in it's place. Are there any other related products / same product from a different merchant you can use? Very few niches go completely dead. There's loads you can do here. I'm sure there'll be a good replacement for this product?

Failing that, look at the method you've used to create the income you have already. You've got a whole books worth of know-how and I'm sure you'll be able to put it to use in another niche.

Hope this helps and let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

    Tom

    Hi Tobman,

Thanks for the nice words, they did actually cheer me up on this cold Winter morning!

I'm trying to replicate what I was doing before with a similiar idea but it is proving fruitless.

    Thanks again for the advice!

Hi Krush, this has happened time and time again to us, and probably to most of the people on this forum - its part and parcel of the business we're in - however, whenever it happens to us, we generally sulk for about a day and then get super motivated to move onwards and upwards!

You see when you have a regular income stream of a good amount, its easy to get complacent - when that income stream is cut off, you have to suddenly start working hard to generate another one!

I guarantee that the method and strategy you were using for your previous niche will work in other area's - and with Christmas looming, what better time to start dabbling in other area's!

Whilst I can't help with making you £40 a day directly, if there is anything you want to bounce by us, please feel free to PM me,

    All the best,

    Alf

Well if you have all the time in the world I think your half way there! If you can be self motivated too I think its only a matter of time before you hit the right idea. I have ideas all the time and i'm sure a lot of them would be successful if I had the time and motivation/self disipline to implement them! Unfortunatly I have a big case of procrastination!

Hi Krush, I guess after 2 years of the good times it was inevitable that it couldn't last forever, and you have clearly learned the lesson when you said "diversify". What was the saying: don't put all your eggs in one basket?

It is easy to fall into the trap that everything is running well and will never change, but that is the time when you should have been looking for your next niche product. Give it time and I'm sure you will come up with some new products. Good luck.

I'm always in a state of panic when I don't have enough "baskets" on the go. At one stage I had two merchants providing 80% of my income and it made me VERY nervous. Rightly so, as one of them shut down just before Xmas last year (Waitrose, won't you please come back?!)

The best advice I can give in this situation is to not panic. If you've been sitting back on a single product all this time and maybe not keeping up to date with new ideas and revenue streams, I suggest allocating yourself an entire day to reading up lots of different blogs and forums to see if inspiration might strike.

At this time of year, my first port of call would be to get the gen on this years top ten selling Christmas toys and see if I could temporarily get my £40 a day back that way to give a bit of breathing space to work out what I could do next!

    luck to you

Thanks for the advice and PM's.

Regarding the toys idea that Kirsty suggested, I have applied for a few toy related affiliate programs in the meantime.

Some PM's but nobody out there that is willing to 'mentor' me!

I suppose I should post a few things that I can offer:

    - Unique content added to your website/blog everyday without fail.
    - I've purchased pretty much every 'hyped' eBook on this industry (I'm talking about the Clickbank ones here, I know some of them are terrible but a few have useful tips).
    - 2 years experience in Google AdWords.
    - I'm very experienced in Wordpress, and know exactly how to configure it for the search engines.
    - Can get a website set up (domain, site, wordpress + basic SEO'd content) within 30 minutes, which is quite good for jumping on trends.
    - Own about 50 domains and about 10 websites.
    - I know somewhere to get a few free PR4 links easily.

In the meantime I will be following Kirsty's advice

Congratulations Krush, situation like this makes you strong. fear no evil from Google again.
I always say, Expect disappointment in life so when you are disappointed you dont feel disappointed.

Dont take it as a spilled milk, its something like a broken china ware that is not shattered.

Google just forced you to tear that plant off by its root, it seems like a constant reminder of whatever.. Just plant another in its place.

The best way to move on:

GO to bed very early, wake up as early as 5am eyes closed for two hours, new ideas will flow. write everything down in your jotter and implement them. Its one of the secrets that make Richard a Branson.

Many thinking behind the scene that makes the business going. lol

Don't see what the problem is. The big retailers must have done their homework about what is gonna be profitable. So hitch a ride and use your marketing skills!

Niche is great until this happens, it happened to me recently... This is why i tend to go into the big industries i.e. finance, gambling etc, I guess that's why I make no money
