    Can anyone suggest a good link to submit sites to search engines please?

    I wouldn't waste your time - one good link from somewhere like this or a blog and the engines will find them. I never use them and all my sites are indexed. Don't waste your time with directories either...

    I agree search engine submission is dead I haven't used it for about 3 years.

    What a money earn that must have been. Back in the day.

    I still think its worth trying to get in Y! directory.

    It has become easy to get your site indexed in search engines, you just need to contribute in forums and blogs and use your website link in your signature that's it rest will be done by the search engine bots.

    it is still worth submitting to Yahoo! Directory, DMOZ and Business.com, BoTW.org.

    Only if you can't get quality links elsewhere.

    I think Business.com has been google slapped recently as well in the PR downgrade.

    Those links are quality links, the Google Webmaster Guidelines even cite Yahoo! Directory as a good place to get a listing.

    I would submit to those directories and get quality links elsewhere.
