Like quite a few affiliates I use the tool affmeter to keep track of commissions from the networks.
So it was suprising today to see on the 11th of November a large amount of commmission being reported with accompanying clicks to various merchants on Tradedoubler.
Now ive checked my TD account and the clicks reported in the affmeter interface ARE NOT MINE. I think what has happened is that im seeing someone else clicks and commission.
This has only happened for one day and having tried again to fetch the data for the 11th its now back to the correct amount.
I had a stange event going back a few months ago, it was about mid-day and it told me that my current commissions was something like £10,000, when I looked, it had somehow downloaded my whole years transactions in one day, like you, after clicking the fetch data button it returned to normal. I'm not saying that happened to you but it might be.
I did think it may well be a sudden download of data over time but there are a few merchants in there I dont promote at all - so that rules it out!
Let me tell you someone is sending lots of traffic to Opodo for very little reward!!
Id just like to add that Opodo is a quality affiliate program with a delightful affiliate manager called Pauline at its helm. The above comment in no way reflects upon the quality of the Opodo affiliate program.
Affmeter keeps your login information on your local machine.
