Anyone know of shops who have stock of Nintendo DS and Wii consoles?

Don't want to pay too much over the odds, can find some but they are silly prices as short demand

    Thanks

Hi stu, sorry to hyjsck the thread but I am also interested in where I can get one too as I have promised the missus.

I have one question though as I am clueless, is the DS lite the same as the DS? If so they have them in argos.

ds was the original ds-lite is the more recent and current version. They will sell out everywhere this side of Christmas as well... and the xbox 360 most likely... PS3 should be available everywhere though.

Send It currrently have stock of the DS Lite Pink at the moment, there seems to be a huge shortage of that particular colour, unlike other retailers they are not taking the mickey on pricing either, £119.98 including Brain Training.

Gamestation are charging £150 with two games which is taking the michael!

It was here about 30 minutes ago but as with all the others it's now out of stock too...

I am not sure if it's a genius marketing scheme by Nintendo to keep the buzz going or whether they have genuine shortages, if it's a marketing ploy now would be the time to release huge amounts of stock.

    Join the club Barry :-(

We've been twiddling our thumbs since October since our 8 year old put a pink DS on here list and have left it too late. Wife saw last one go off the shelf in Game locally while she was approaching the shelf ! Queues outside when stock came in apparently 60 gone in 10 minutes.

Managed to talk our way into having a ps3 accepted (I think/hope !) - on the brink at the moment between 'all my friends have a got a DS' and 'wow I'll be the only one to have a new ps3'. Haven't had the 'but daddy you've been doing stuff with loads of toy shops on the internet haven't you' ? yet...

I managed to get one for my wife from John Lewis last week (they are doing £20 voucher codes as you are probably aware!) so added a £1 acceptance card to get it for £81 - That was my 3rd attempt though as twice before it literally got taken out of my cart before I had hit the confirm button on the payment page

It would be worth checking John Lewis a few times a day as last week they were adding 10 DS's an hour, they got snapped up within 5 minutes each time though.
