Hey everyone,
Newbie to the forum here, I was hoping I could get some advice about using PPC as I only have a little experience and it wasn't too good ;-)
What I am thinking of doing is promoting Amazon books and games via PPC, for example, promote "guitar hero 3" and bid on just the name terms.
Is this a good strategy?
I have a bunch of questions but I'll see if it's a good overal strategy before getting specific, lol :-)
Thanks

On the plus side Amazon certainly converts and you can get an XML feed of all their products. On the down side as you're starting out cashflow might be an issue - if you start this month you'll be paying PPC costs as you go along but not getting paid from Amazon until end March. It may be better to find something that pays quicker. Also the products you're promoting sound like low value products? It might be hard to get a decent profit promoting things like books and games.
As an introduction to PPC there's probably better options out there.
Cheers,
Jon
Sh*t, I'm just back from a mad night out.
[1]It's NOT a good strategy. Period.
[2] (I half changed my mind)
It is a half baked strategy as I
just LOOKED at the search results
for "guitar hero 3".
If you can get clicks for 4p try it. If
you can't:

and/or
[2] Read my FREE minimum-bid PPC article
(it covers EXACTLY your question)
One way or the other you could be on to
a winner.

Hi guys,
Thanks for your replies :-)
Affi Liate - Can you please tell me where I can find the article you mentioned and any other good articles you have?
On your blog it says "Look on the homepage for where to sign up" or something like that but I couldn't find anything.
Thanks
