Help a thicko - Wordpress spam plugin

Well my blog might not have garnered any PageRank yet but it's achieved that dubious distinction of having its copy lifted by some spammer for his own blog. I'm sure I saw a Wordpress plugin mentioned recently either in these forums or in someone else's blog that dealt with this sort of copying. Anyone point me in the right direction?

Akismet kills pretty much all the comment spam possible.

Thanks John but I've got Akismet already and it's preventing the backlinks to the spammer. The plugin I vaguely remember did something like appending a link back to your own blog so you at least get some backlinks yourself.

Although now I have found it I'm not sure it's what I want. I think it'd be preferable to prepend a link to the top of the post rather than the bottom. That way you're getting links when someone only posts the first paragraph or two of your content.

If someone is lifting your content, the easy option is to contact the site and ask them to remove your copyrighted content. If that fails, contact the ISP/HSP and make a complaint, requesting that the material is removed.

As a last resort, there are copyright specialist lawyers.

I think it'd be preferable to prepend a link to the top of the post rather than the bottom. That way you're getting links when someone only posts the first paragraph or two of your content.

The plugin does that too, it's an option in the settings.
