Hi Smingle,
Just to let you know that the payment process at affilinet is seamless - we guarantee publisher payments on 15th of the following month, regardless of whether an advertiser has paid us or not, so this should hopefully not be an issue for you. Therefore, for all commissions earned in January, we will pay you on 15th February.
In addition, the program is going to auto validate all sales.
Thanks
Ricki
Hi,
Around 99% of sales will be validated for Next - although all sales will be automatically validated, there could be the odd 1% that might need to be reversed.
I hope this clarifies - please let me know if you have any further questions
Thanks
Ricki
Never having dealt with next in an affiliate or customer capacity I didn't really have an opinion on any of this, however my mum bought a dress from next yesterday and then was extremely confused as to why it said the order was complete yet she hadn't entered any payment details, so I took a look for her and found the whole next directory checkout scam, how can it be legal for next to create a credit account and do a credit search on you if you choose free delivery as opposed to paying for delivery, there is nothing on the page that says they will do this, instead you have to click the link to the terms and conditions to see that you are having this credit search and also signing up to a recurring magazine subscription.
I have no problem with next offering this, but surely the checkout as it is is designed to trick people, they know full well that nobody reads T+Cs when buying stuff, the options at checkout give you the choice of free delivery plus a charge for the magazine or you have to pay for delivery, no mention of a store card or credit check.
Its totally disgusting in my opinion that a large retailer needs to resort to this sort of scam.
When is it going to appear on buy.at? I can only see a flower program on there at the moment?
