Anyone found Valentines Day to be a flop for sales?

This has been by far my slowest day in years, both in terms of affiliate commissions but also sales through my merchant businesses. I'm use to earning a certain amount each day and its as if today might as well not have happened!

Anyone finding similar results? Does all this love stop ppl spending

Yep *really* quiet day here too... was actually just deciding whether to pause all PPC campaigns for the night or hang on and hope for a late rally.

I think people stop buying online once its too late to recieve things in the post. Iv noticed on my website things like "flowers", "hotels", "romantic gifts" and other search terms were hot a week ago but have dropped off now. However "romantic poems", "romantic songs" and "romantic ideas" were being searched for today lmao Last recorded search for something romantic was at 15:48 "Be more romantic" was the search term....... aw!

Talk about leaving it late

Been a good day for me, so quite pleased!

Had a nice suprise last week, when one of my sites which hasn't done very well at all since last october, selling "adult" stuff suddenly rocketed in the last week. Around 50% of sales were over £80 as well so some nice commissions

I`d pretty much forgotten about the site, so it was nice when it suddenly started earning.
