Keyword Misspellings

Hia!

Just a quickie, do many of you guys seo for keyword misspellings. Eg: Actung would be a misspelling of acting.......... Iv noticed im starting to rank well for a few misspellings and iv done some research and all my catergories have similar keywords with similar amounts of traffic I could obtain a nifty top 5 for.

Does anyone get much traffic from this?.................

there is a fair amount of traffic for misspellings hence the reason typosquatters made and in some cases still make a good living, especially on the bigger brands. but make sure you read the t&cs; some actually quote SEO and misspellings; some don't.

in order to get traffic you will need to be in position 1/2 i would expect; most users would have given up and re-typed by then unlike normal SERP results.

One of my clients has asked me to look in to this for their site. I've never tested the water with misspellings before but I'd imagine there is a bit of traffic to gain from it. I'll let you know if we get any results from it.
