Built two sites and want to optimise them to make a profit

Hi guys,

I've created two blog style sites and I'm looking for ways to optimise them to make some profit?

They're both hovering around the second page in Google for search terms and climbing - I'm just not sure if I've laid the content out correctly - or what else I could add?

Any advice would be great.

When did blogs stop being about Jane's unbelievable wacky life and start becoming crappy made for adsense pages with someone elses content with a few words changed........

Findlite - The op does not use adsense.
Hi Helen, I think you've got some good sites but you need to concentrate on getting some original content on there as I passed your home pages through Copyscape - Website Plagiarism Search - Web Site Content Copyright Protection and it came up with 6 results for stopsweating and over 10 results for preventidentitytheft so you've probaby got duplicate content issues.

That's suprising as more of the text on the Identity Theft site has been written by me.....

Take a look at Copyscape - Website Plagiarism Search - Web Site Content Copyright Protection yourself and then you'll be able to see which bits are duplicate content. The free version only lists the first 10 results

Sorry I know you dont use adsense.........Was just refering to the "Joel Comm Club" who insist on writing useless pages in the hope of getting a 99p click.....
