I assume for affiliate traffic you would lose your own affiliate banners in the top right for the National Lottery etc?
Also I would be more interested if you also offered commission on job applicants signing up as well as on employers placing ads.
Hey everyone,
ZAMM.co.uk is a new recruitment website, launched in February 2008.
We're planning to launch a B2B affiliate program within the next couple of months with Affiliate Window, but would like some advice before we put the finishing touches to our affiliate offer...
We're targeting businesses within the UK initially, to place their job ads at ZAMM.co.uk
Job ads on the site cost in the region of £99 each, which includes access to the CV database and emailing the job to our job seekers database.
We're planning to offer a £25 - £40 affiliate commission on each advert placed, dependent on the sales generated each month. The cookie length will be generous (around 90 days) to allow for those businesses who place further ads on the site.
We have a strong viral video campaign launching in April together with heavy creative press advertising, which should help to persuade businesses to post with us.
So, initially, I'm just trying to gauge how popular such a program would be amongst affiliates who run B2B websites? Would you sign up?

Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.
If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.
Hello
Yes, affiliate banners would be removed once our own program starts.
We're considering paying commission on new candidates who register, but we are happy with the number that we are signing up at the moment, so that may come later this year.

Sounds like a good little deal to me. I'd sign up for it mate

Hi Russ,
Just a little pointer on your colours.
Yellow and Black are used in nature to signify danger - snakes etc. They'll subconsiously affect your visitors' desire to stay in the site.
Just something you'd like to consider.
Regards,
Lee
Do you have products for review on my chocolate reviews or Easter eggs blog?s PM me.
Thanks for the feedback Lee.
We wanted to site colour scheme to reflect the brand and to differentiate us from other jobsites, hence we finally settled on black and yellow. I think it looks good, so we'll see how it goes over the coming months!
Best, Russ
