Folks, having logged into the admin section of the a4uAwards, I see that only around 30 people have voted so far

We are aiming for around 1,000 voters! so we have some way to go especially considering we changed a number of awards to Publishers and Community Choice.

Perhaps you are all still thinking about who to vote for? or perhaps networks, agencies, bloggers and merchants have not put their case forward strong enough?

    http://www.affiliates4u.com/awards/

Let us know if you have any questions on the Publisher and Community Choice Awards as well as the new community led Affiliates4u Award for Excellence!

There will be two rounds of voting, with the first round closing in just 30 days.

We are also accepting entries to a number of award categories - see this blog post for comprehensive details.

The short-list and winners will be published within a special Affiliate Marketing booklet distributed on the night and within NMA (New Media Age).

    Many Thanks,

    Matthew

come on guys! I've voted. Actually it was a shorter form than I expected.

But it did take longer than I thought as I had to find out how to spell "Wheatley".
Do you have products for review on my chocolate reviews or Easter eggs blog?s PM me.

Matt, I must admit I was holding back on voting due to confusion with the mixed terminology.... you know it doesn't take much to confuse me So just to clarify...

    Publisher's Choice Of Network
This is the network I, as an affiliate, think deserves to win.

    Publisher's Choice Of Account Manager
This is an individual within a Network (not necessarily the network voted for above) that I, as an affiliate, think deserves to win.

    Affiliate Manager Of 2008
An individual who is employed by a merchant, whose role is managing their affiliate programme.

    Affiliate Marketing Blog Of 2008
A blog, whether it be from a fellow affiliate, agency, network or merchant, that I think has tackled issues, helped the industry move forward, provides hints tips to newbies etc etc. (Can I nominate my own on this?)

    Agency Of The Year
    I understand this one

The only thing I would add is that the Publishers Choice of Account Manager category can receive nominations for a Network or Agency Account Manager

I've voted now. However, was a bit annoying that Merchants, Agencies and Networks are all put in the same voting category, meaning I couldn't vote for the network, account manager or even the excellence award.

I hope this won't be the case when it comes to actually voting too- merchants have pretty valid views on network choice for example.

    Cheers

Naomi, thank you for your nominations!

The Network and Account Manager categories are both Publisher Choice awards so will only be open to Publishers for nominations & voting.

However, if you would like a say in the "affiliates4u Excellence Award" you are required to submit a testimonial stating your reasons why you feel the person you are nominating should pick up the award, through the online submission process at a4uAwards. The number and quality of the nominations will be taken very strongly into consideration by the panel.

    Thanks

    Claire

I haven't really had any experience with real people or agencies, so I just voted in two of the categories; but in the words of Tesco, every little helps!
