I haven't seen an Adwords phishing email before, but have seen these Adwords requests before, so this is very useful. Thank you.
Just received this phishing email
Dear Google AdWords Customer,
Your ads have stopped running because we were unable to process your billing information. We will reactivate you account after you update your billing information. In order to reactivate your account, please sign it to your account at (WARNING DONT ENTER ANY INFO)http://adwords.google.com/select/login, and update your billing information. Once your account is reactivated and your billing information has been processed, any your ads and campaigns can begin running immediately on Google.
You will not be asked to submit your billing information every time you create a new ad or campaign. If your payment has been declined and you'd like to resubmit the same credit card information, you may also do so by clicking the Retry card button on your Billing Preferences page. After updating your credit card information (regardless of whether or not you use a different card), it can take up to 24 hours before your ads start running again. You also have the option of providing a backup credit card to help ensure that your ads run continuously in the case that your primary payment method fails.
Sincerely,
Nearly got caught out because I received one once before when my Credit card expired but fortunately I checked the link adwrods.google
Just a warning to everyone

I've ntoticed this last week quite a few of these Google Adwords ones arring in my inbox. Quick check of the email address they were sent to and I knew it was a phishing one, although I did take time to actually look at this email so hopefully not too many will get caught out.
Cheers
Wardy
I had a client who received about twenty of these yesterday, fortunately he checked with us before filling in his details though he visited the page. Extremely well done phishing scam which should remind us all how easy it could be to fall for.

I just got an ebay one this morning. Looked like it came from someone asking a question about something I wasn't selling. Clever because I think alot of people would click to see what was going on.
I get huge number of these on a daily basis.
The odd thing is that although they definately don't come from Google, they are only coming in from email addresses I used on Adwords. How the scammers got these addresses I don't know, but its odd that they all relate to adwords accounts i`ve owned in the past.
That's one of the best phishing emails I've seen so far, that is scary.

It is odd how they have got these email addresses. Think I'll send Google an email
