Asking the merchant to go above and beyond.....

As many of you now know from previous threads I am only a part time affiliate and only have about 3 hours an evening to update all my fashion sites.

I just do not have time to log into each network, find out who the contact is for each fashion merchant, and drop them an email to discuss ways of promoting them.

So I have decided to post here, as its probably the merchants/agencies who read this forum are the most active ones towards their affiliates.

What I am after is merchants in the following categories to get in contact with me via pm or email, so we can discuss future promotions, vouchers, best selling lists etc:

Womens Lingerie (sorry Adam)
Bags
Designer Labels
Perfumes
Shoes.
Skate/Surf brands.

I know what you mean! Try putting together a little presentation, create a PDF file from it, and email it to all your contacts at the networks and ask they contact merchants and agencies on your behalf.

In it, include details of what you have in the pipeline, what you are after and examples of where it has worked in the past. I did this 2 weeks ago and although initially a little slow, agencies and the odd network have been fantastic with their repsonses. Well worth it despite it taking me sometime to put it all together.
