Motel clothing is selling fast.

Asos have just had a star dress delivered that sold out of all 200 pieces in 72 hours. Motel is sold under the name of fairground on Asos. and are set to sell £1.5 million worth online over a 12 month period.

Fairground will be added to the new motel site, to help conversion rates.

Motel has also been featured in these sites over the past few weeks : More, Look ( 3 times ), Heat, Grazia, and Closer.

Tope shop keeps expanding the space, House of Fraser have just added a concession to every shop.

Now obviously the product sells.

The affiliate programme pays 20% on Paidonresults, has a 100% validation rate, and discount codes are available.

affiliates accout for such a small amount of the sales for the site online.. we need to know why?

So we have designed a new site , and would like your feedback.

Basically the old site was not commercial enough.

Hopefully you will keep the same url structure. Some merchants in the past have revamped their sites and all our deep links have stopped working, which on a big site is a nightmare to change.

I certainly much prefer the plain colour scheme of the new site and the new choice of fonts for the menus.

Overall a big improvement on the original site.

what improvements could you suggest? Does the site still look young? and should we use an older model?

the new site is definitely an improvement. The colours on the old one tended to clash with the clothes in the photos. They stand out better in the new one. Having a variety of models is better too.

As for improvements, the photos maybe could be bit better - not sure if it's the originals or the amount they're compressed but they look a bit fuzzy and don't show the clothes off to best effect.

I've done bit of work with a local kids clothing maker and they wanted a 'complete the look' feature ( I think Monsoon use it too) where the other items the model is wearing are shown at the bottom of the product page and can be bought to make a complete outfit. Most sales seem to have been more than one item, so I think it works.

I'm off to start promoting Motel now..

It looks pretty good actually in a strange sort of way.

Not much to say other than that.

It's all over the place in IE6 (just for the record)..

It's almost "basic" in delivery but it works really well.

I love the way you've got the product pages set up.

Make the add to basket a different colour. Very different. Orange maybe..

I'd personally have it saying "Add to Basket or I'll F***** Kill you" but if you're more reserved orange should draw enough attention.

Have you got the phone number of the blonde bird in the blue dress?
