I have just had a check of all the new affiliates wishing to join my program this week. About halfway down the list I think I am having dejavu as the same site keeps on appearing. I had 10 different requests from just named people all linking to the same site. Is there something I am missing or does someone think they are being really clever and are not?
Surely even if I did except all 10 of these so called people with the same website onto the program they would all have different affiliate ID's and could therefore only use one banner or link. Or is there a way that afiliates can put in multiple ID numbers into banners and links to try and trick the merchant and network?
I've had these for about a week now, someone is obviously trying to pull something. I just decline them and send them all to the network to ensure they are removed from the system. If you look at their email addresses they bear no relevance to the site in question, if it is the same situation as mine.
It could be from a site like ours (pagerank10.co.uk) who sell pages to affiliates to promote merchants, that would explain multiple affiliates registering the same site.
