Trampolines - in top 60 - worth the work?

Hi All

Ive got a site i started flippin ages on trampolines , which is floating around 50-70 mark

Im wondering if people think its work spending 2-3 weeks on it to get it near the top 10 for june/july/august or not to bother

Im number 2 for several large keywords in another industry so know its possible, but not sure if to do it to grab as many sales as i can during the next 2-3 as it looks like it will be a hot summer

any thoughts?

cheers

Rob

I would if I were you Rob - i used to work for one of the big mail order companies, and the traffic and conversions on trampoline related terms were unreal! well worth a little bit of effort!!!

I'm not sure. Like Alfie, I used to work at a mail order company and he's right in saying that the traffic and conversions is high, very high in fact.

However, the competition for Google space is very high. If you think you can get the page in the top 10 on G then yes, go for it. One angle may be to go for long-tail keywords that other's have missed, eg. big trampolines etc.

A few people I know have promoted trampolines in the past and seen excellent results, I would definitely go for it

PS, not sure about this summer's weather, I heard a long term forecast a while ago that said it would be a rainy one. Although I feel a little wrong saying that since I'm currently perspiring in front of the laptop in balmy 25 degree temperatures down here in Cornwall

...why am I sat here again?

Hi Rob

I look after the Bouncy Happy People programme on Paid On Results, I have done a quick report that may be of use to you with the current stats for Bouncy Happy People.
Current total conversions:-
3.2%
EPC 56p per click.

Also for Trampoline related traffic:-
6% conversion
EPC £1.20 per click.

I hope you find this information useful, as people have stated these search terms are very competitive but well worth it if you can get high rankings.

Re: Trampolines - in top 60 - worth the work?

I agree with the high competition. By the looks of it a couple of companies have been doing some seo as they have suddenly appeared in the top 10 and have not been there at all in the last 6 months since i started it

cheers for all the replies, will give it a go but wont be dissapointed if it doesnt get there

cheers all

Rob

If I was Bouncy Happy People I don't think I'd be too bouncy or happy about you giving out conversion info.
