I'd be interested in this too - I ran into the same problem.
For the moment I've switched to using Amazons aStore feature (builds a mini store - very quick to set up, but very limited in what you can do with it).
I'm hoping someone can help me resurrect or replace an Amazon PHP script that I have had running on a few sites for almost two years, which stopped working at the end of April because Amazon has changed over to a new version its e-commerce system (ECS 4.0).
The chap who originally created the script (for ECS 3.0) is not able to update it and, while it doesn't really generate much revenue these days (just because the sites are not really maintained and are now very low traffic), it is nice to have a little bit of extra cash each month!
So, can anyone help? I'm not a programmer or very technically minded (I can add a PHP script into an HTML page and that's about it), so I need something that is idiot proof and kind of "plug and go", but which can be easily tailored so that the content it brings up on each page is determined by whatever product category and search term is used in the script.

if you dont get any luck here, maybe check the Amazon dev site - plenty of code samples there. Else ask in the dev forums![]()
Thanks TravelSite and jezaff - I've tried using the aStore on one site, but likewise found it very limited and its difficult to create different styles for different sites (in fact, I think it's impossible without creating a different Amazon account). In opinion, it's also not as Google-friendly as a script.
I have found one script that might be worth a go, but there are no examples of what it looks like - I did e-mail them to see if they could provide any, but haven't heard anything. However, there's a free version and a paid for version, which is only £14.99, so I guess it's worth a punt! In case you're interested the two scripts can be found at:
Amazon ECS Script
Amazon ECS Script (FREE)
Anyone got any experience of using these scripts? Are they easy to use and configure?

Accessories Me
Also I have a script that does this - mashes amazon and ebay - Collecting Coins Books DVDs and AccessoriesInformation if there is any interest I was looking to start selling this script.

Hi scifind, Thanks for the Accessories Me link - could be just what I'm looking for!
Darren, thanks also for letting me know about Leeky as I'm sure the Amazon scripts must be his as one of the other site links goes directly to pagerank10, so may well PM him anyway to see exactly what the scripts are capable of.
