Increasing traffic...?

I set up my first affiliate blog/site at the beginning of April as a bit of an experiment, I have not done too badly in terms of SEO I get some quite good hits and on page 1 for a couple of my keyphrases

I have made a couple of sales, one through Amazon, One through John Lewis and made about $25 through Adsense also, however I am struggling to push the visitor numbers up despite following advice from fellow affiliates on this forum etc. about social media, forums etc

I am currently getting between 20 - 40 visitors a day but I'd really like to push that up to about 200 a day - HELP! Any ideas/feedback would be appreciated.

Basically just keep plodding along, adding new content and unique guides.

Usually blogs take about 3 months to filter through all the search engines, and more people will come.

You mentioned the social media side of things. Personally I have found some of the major bookmarking sites to be very useful. With some of the key bookmarking sites the links are ranked very quickly, in some cases within a few hours. Also, as you mentioned, links to your site from certain forums produces quick results to.
Other than that, blogs do build up the traffic bit by bit but I have always found them to take quite a while to rank.
